I got my hands on a Nexus One the other day, and have to say I’m pretty impressed. Being a die-hard iPhone enthusiast, it has been nearly impossible for a phone to woo me. Droid, HTC MyTouch, and Palm Pre were all too boxy/clunky for me, and the interface didn’t feel as smooth or as sharp. The Googlephone takes care of those issues, but there’s no multitouch! If you try to “pinch-to-zoom” in the browser, the phone politely tells you to double tap to zoom. I booed loudly upon my first multi-touch attempt. Apparently, however, Mr. Cyanogen has this problem taken care of.
